I began learning about and programming computers in 1979. My first computer was an Ohio Scientific C1P with 8K of RAM, a 6502 processor, and a cassette tape interface. Shortly after, I received an Apple ][ Plus and upgraded it to 48K of RAM and two 5.25 floppy drives. In 1983 I rewrote a CPM Inventory Management system and adapted it to the Apple ][ platform running under DOS 3.3. I attended Southwest Texas State University from 1983-1985 majoring in Computer Science and minor in Mathematics. I returned again to SWTSU in 1989 and majored in Organizational Communications with a minor in Psychology. I’ve written software in both Fortran 77 and Pascal. From 1985 to 1992 I worked as a shipping/receiving manager for Mervyn's Department Stores and from 1992 until 2018 was in Cyber Operations in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant (E8). I'm currently a student at Texas State University pursuing a BBA in Computer Information Systems.
